A utility company was experiencing disappointing performance filling specialized technical positions with their existing staffing vendors via their VMS. Vernovis aligned directly with the CTO to get higher-skilled talent quickly in high volume – at one time placing 10 engineers and business analysts simultaneously. Because of the Vernovis approach to understand the client’s goals, culture and skill set need first, Vernovis successfully placed 27 positions in a variety of engagement models – Staff Augmentation, Contract-to-hire and Direct Hire.
SITUATION
For 3 years, Vernovis built a relationship with the client, but never found a fit with their existing VMS process. They asked for assistance in staffing up these hard-to-find positions quickly.

The quality of the candidates increased throughout the process as Vernovis met with the hiring manager weekly to review needs, candidate profiles, and get feedback on those that had already been placed.
